In the Province of Lugo, in the Municipal District of Xermade, in the Parish of Roupar-Casanova, we set up Yeguada Casanova, dedicated to breeding and selection of Spanish thoroughbred horses (Pura Raza Española).
Our journey began in 2006 with the acquisition of several specimens and rescuing an old hobby by its founder, Manuel Dopico Rodríguez, which has been growing until now.
Mares graze freely in a semi-intensive system. This way, these animals strengthen their bone and muscle structure, favouring a perfect development of their qualities.
Our aim is to obtain quality specimens, based on nobility and beauty that characterizes the Spanish thoroughbred horse (Pura Raza Española), getting also an appropriate morphological and functional section.
